Webmasters of airlines often do such mistakes and marketing people never check whether the data or info displayed is correct. This is a very interesting spot from British Airways website regarding A319 aircraft. I hope they read this blog and correct their error.
According to British Airways website (check here); A319 has following characteristics:
I wonder when did an A319 became B747-400?

Airline with Best Fleet Data
Air Canada
Air Canada is one of the best among legacy carriers in presentation of the fleet and seating data on their web site. Please check their web site at this address. I am posting a copy of one of their fleet information pages here in order to place it in www archives. All other airlines marketing people should visit Air Canada web site to see this best sample. I hope Air Canada never changes this format.
United Airlines
It looks United Airlines is the second best for fleet data presentation. It is here. This is becoming a competition. Sooner or later, I may present a list of all airlines with proper fleet data on their web sites.
Delta Air Lines
Delta Air Lines is another legacy carrier with detailed fleet and seating data presentation. Check Delta Air Lines web site.

Germanwings Seat Maps
For some time, I have been studying seating configurations of airlines due to a research study. When I visited web site of Germanwings a couple of minutes ago, I noticed that their seat plans are wrong compared to the given aircraft data. Here is their web page address.
- For A319 aircraft, the number of seats is given as 144/150. If you look at the seat map 144 seats is okay. Then where is the 150 seat configuration.
- For A320 aircraft, the number of seats is given as 174. Now, count the seating rows on the given seating layout. There are 27 rows. Consider that all the rows are 6 abreast. Then 6 x 27 = 162. Where are the missing 12 seats?
- Finally, CRJ900 NextGen data is correct.
